NS Series 8.4" Touch-Screen HMI for Machine Interface

The Omron NS8-TV00B-V2 is an 8.4-inch TFT colour touch-screen programmable terminal from the NS Series, designed for machine-operator interface in industrial automation. The 640 x 480 VGA display provides clear visualisation of process status, alarms, and operator controls, while the IP65-rated front panel allows installation in washdown or panel-front environments.

The terminal communicates with Omron CP/CJ/NJ/NX PLCs over Ethernet or serial, and also connects to third-party PLCs via Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU. A USB port supports screen-data transfer using standard USB memory sticks, simplifying program upload and recipe handling without a PC.

CX-Designer software provides a drag-and-drop screen editor with a large library of industrial components — pushbuttons, indicator lamps, numeric entry, trend graphs, and alarms — for fast project development. 32 MB of on-board memory holds screens, macros, recipes, and logging data.
