The Omron CJ1W-SCU22 is a serial communication module for CJ1 series PLCs, providing reliable RS-422 or RS-485 connectivity for industrial automation systems. This module supports RS-422 and RS-485 standards, enabling connection to multiple devices in multi-drop network configurations. The RS-485 port supports up to 32 devices, making it ideal for networked applications requiring multiple nodes. The CJ1W-SCU22 supports multiple protocols including Omron-specific protocols, Modbus RTU for third-party device integration, and general ASCII communication.
