The Omron NX-EIC202 is an EtherNet/IP communication coupler unit designed for the NX series of modular I/O terminals. This coupler enables connection of up to 63 NX-series I/O units to an EtherNet/IP network, providing flexible and distributed I/O解决方案. The NX-EIC202 serves as a gateway between EtherNet/IP master controllers and NX I/O modules, supporting implicit (real-time I/O) and explicit messaging for configuration and diagnostics. The coupler supports automatic allocation of I/O data, simplifying system configuration and reducing engineering time. With support for both digital and analog I/O modules, the NX-EIC202 can handle a wide variety of automation signals including discrete sensors, actuators, temperature inputs, and analog transmitters. The unit features dual EtherNet/IP ports for linear/daisy-chain topology, eliminating the need for external Ethernet switches.
